Nivine Rophael began teaching yoga in 2014, after completing her 500-hr teacher training with Cyndi Lee, and graduated as a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) in 2018. She believes Yoga is a powerful healing force that transforms pain, and credits Iyengar Yoga specifically with healing her spinal injuries and enabling her to live with ease, after suffering from chronic pain for many years. Her classes are fun and energetic and her patient, methodical style of teaching works well with both beginners and more seasoned yogis. She encourages students towards continuous progress, regardless of ability level. She is also studying Ayurveda digestion, which gives her the ability to help integrate diet and yoga practice into a complete wellness program.
