One of the tools Iyengar Yoga relies upon is Yoga Kurunta, the use of ropes, as part of the regular yoga practice. Practicing yoga this way opens the body, releasing tension in the spine and pelvic area, and allows easier access to even the most difficult poses. An effective way to work with elderly or stiff practitioners, the ropes also help correct scoliosis, as well as providing a great tool for any yoga studio.

All proceeds from this workshop series will go towards the funds for installing a yoga rope wall in our studio.

Fee: $30 each or $75 for all three
Pre-registration is required and appreciated.

These workshops are for all levels but not for beginners. Students should have at least six months experience of asana practice.
